An overseas holiday was no longer on the cards for our clients, due to the current Covid restrictions, so they decided to make some serious improvements around their property and create a slice of paradise in their own backyard.

This project began its transformation with the removal of bricks, rocks and other material to get level heights for the terraced patio and lawn. Features of this project include a retaining wall, macrocarpa steps with exposed aggregate to the side of the home and off the patio. Ready lawn was freshly laid to create the perfect spot for lazing about in the sun or for their children to play.

This backyard is surrounded by lush greenery, it feels like a secluded sanctuary, even though it is in the heart of Dunedin.  We are confident there will be many memories created here, in and around the spa, enjoying life together as a family.
